The 2023 PTFO Approval Matrix

A retrospective.

So, I’m not sure how many episodes of PTFO you’ve watched or listened to since we launched in September.

If you’re a completist — or someone who believes, as I obviously do, in the sanctity of The Big Lead’s Best Podcast Award — the answer should really be 46. (There’s still time!)

But before we all blow the popsicle stand that is 2023, I wanted to share with you the surprise that arrived in my (physical) mailbox just last week.

Because my great friend Mickey Duzyj — a deeply talented artist, animator, and director — personally illustrated his own PTFO year-in-review, inspired by New York Magazine.

And, I mean, holy shit:

It also jogged my own (admittedly hazy) memory of some of what we did this year — filling me anew with gratitude for our staff, and our listeners, and our viewers, across YouTube (shoutout to the 67,000+ of you who’ve subscribed so far!) and the DraftKings Network.
