At some point earlier this year, after meeting him through our mutual friends Ben Detrick and Andrew Kuo, of the incomparable Cookies Hoops, I realized that Adam Friedland and I have a number of fairly significant things in common.
Adam, among other things, is the host of The Adam Friedland Show; former co-host of Cum Town; and, according to GQ, he Could Be the Millennial Jon Stewart — none of that is what I’m referring to. (The Chair Incident, especially.)
I’m referring to a youth spent in Lincoln-Douglas Debate; an appreciation for both Tony Kornheiser and Richard Nixon; multiple LSATs; and a curiosity about whether LeBron James was actually at Kobe Bryant’s globally televised memorial.
A (controversial) PTFO investigation that Adam (secretly) inspired:
One difference between Adam and me, though, has to do with “journalism.”
Which, as we discuss, is not quite the same thing as “interviewing.”
YOUTUBE SPOILER ALERT:
