When the NFLPA’s newly-resigned (!) chief strategy officer, JC Tretter, did a pair of exit interviews — with CBS Sports and then our pals at The Dan Patrick Show — in which he complained about various “mistruths” that journalists like us had reported about him, I wanted to make sure that PTFO didn’t get something wrong.
So I spent my would-be vacation fact-checking… and calling up a bunch of individuals I’d never talked to before… and spending way too much time with a guy I’d spent way too much time with already: Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio.
