There is a absolutely rotten piece of me that thinks that people who are so eager to abandon their moral and intellectual agency to religion probably deserve what they get, especially when contrasted with how much damage they do politically.

I wish i was better, but I wish they were better even more.

Oh boy how damn familiar this whole sales tactic is with the credit card stacking and aggressive psychological programming to take out loans...it happens all over the coaching/personal development industry. I fell victim to this through Heartcore Business back in 2017. I also worked for a time as a collections assistant for a coach who learned from HCB how to do all this and who "enrolled" (PRESSURED) women who were barely living on public assistance and part time jobs into a $12k coaching program. I was sick to my stomach "collecting" for them and quit very quickly and am grateful that I was able to recover from my own situation. But the preying on the vulnerable is RAMPANT at all of these motivational/personal development/wealth building in person events.

Pablo,

If you see this, there is another credible , independent journalist named Julie Roys, (Roys report) who investigated this story last year. She’s basically the “inside baseball” journalist in the Christian world. She might be a good contact moving forward. Peace.

I was disappointed you guys didn't mention how easy it is to game Google reviews

I used to work at a retail store which had a 2nd hand buying dept. They were notorious for not paying out, essentially running a scam as long as they could. Multiple times police would come in to get stolen equipment that was purchased, they'd sell gear that was supposed to just be assessed, etc. One time a customer came in to complain and got a bunch of higher-ups from the company scrambling down - the guy had flown from St Louis to NYC because there was 5 digits worth of gear. The guy pointed out that there were tons of Google reviews with similar experiences with their 2nd-hand purchase department and that the average Google review had dropped .5 stars in the past year (something co-workers and I regularly looked at for entertainment I might add).

After that happened there was a massive, massive surge of 5 star reviews, absolutely disproportionate to the amount of customers we were getting with no visible push for reviews - no promotions or discounts, no emails soliciting them, etc. It was very obvious that the reviews were being farmed, and quite effectively I might add. When that guy came in the store was at around 3.8 avg on Google, now it's around 4.5. Reviews made references to people who hadn't worked there in years, claimed they made purchases on Saturday when the store was closed that day, so on and so forth.

Tldr the 4.8/5 they're advertising is almost certainly review farmed bullshit

You are just scratching the surface too. I survived to tell about it. And I did tell about it. To other speakers, to other churches in communities Life Surge was going to. THANK YOU! It's through THIS that it's getting the awareness needed!!!! They are using brainwashing techniques in their classes. No sunlight in their classrooms. VERY cold rooms. Very limited food/water. Long days short lunch breaks. Asked not to eat in the rooms. You are tired from early start and late finish. Then the high pressure sales and call to your commitment to grow the kingdom.

Next, look into where the money goes from the events and enrollments. It all flows downstream into other companies that print the material, schedule the events, pay the speakers, etc. All companies Joe Johnson and his cohorts own. So even if something blows up, there's no money in Life Surge. It's been passed down to numerous other companies!!!! It's like legal money laundering. Ethical? No. Legal? Looks like it is.....

Greetings Pablo. Keep up the good “investigated work” I read over the weekend. Tim Tebow decided to “step away” from that organization

I’m glad yall did this story. I’m work in financial services and met a lady about 6 months ago who is a single mom who had spent over $50,000 to learn how to day trade in the stock market. They helped her finance all of it as well.

Everything you reported in on basically lines up with her story. I wondered the exact same thing…. Do these Christian celebrities like Tim Tebow know what’s going on?

It's not only their followers the scam. Read about their previous employee pay scandal:

49 complaints in 10 years???? So 5 a year??? Most sales pitches involve emotionalism, and prey on women, or betas following women. The "church" is so gynocentric, of course they are going to get duped. I would never fall for this, and if you do, it's your connection to Jesus that's the real problem....you are out of order!
