Doubtful that Zaslov pulled off anything, other than originally removing HBOs name from the company. Zaslov is proof that you don’t need much skill to make a lot of money.
Finally, Skipper is right about the FCPA. In my years of dealing with International transactions and arbitrations, if it took a bribe to get a bid, it was only the first of many needed to complete performance. The “real world” guys were able to use the FCPA as an excuse for lagging business.
