Who Is the Best Kind of Famous?

EPISODE 189: A debate with Nick Wright and Kevin Wildes.

I don’t consider myself the type of person who has an Enemies List.

And yet:

You may recall that Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan appeared on PTFO together, back in 2023, not long before I was labeled “miserable” in a headline in the Post.

Well, this week — at long last — another one of my Enemies makes his debut.

Nick Wright and Kevin Wildes, in case you didn’t know, co-host a popular sports television show, First Things First, over on FS1. (It is, unfortunately, terrific.)

And so I wanted to begin this episode — an episode that’ll go unusually deep inside sports media, and the art of takes, and magic words, and celebrity, because Nick started off as a solo radio host and Wildes started off as a TV producer — by confronting them about the last time the three of us had been together in person.

And a label Nick gave me that I’ve been waiting more than a year to bring up.
