On today’s episode, with Mina Kimes and Dan Le Batard, we discuss…
Mina’s personal experience watching Jerry Seinfeld perform live this week (and what Seinfeld told The New Yorker about television and comedy)
A sincerely startling report about how the book publishing industry works (and what we should name the memoir Dan still wants to write)
Why nobody in media should attempt to emulate the greatest athlete-turned-broadcaster of all time, Charles Barkley (even though so many do)
ALSO: Macheté-based racism, Matt Rife, plants, and Royal Match.
DKN/YOUTUBE SPOILER ALERT:
Happy Friday,
Pablo
Okay - just have to admit that Dan is not the only one addicted to Royal Match and embarrassed by it. I am a closeted addict and probably paid about $50 for the added coins, etc. I even deleted it and added the app back and started right where I left off. I swear it know’s when I’m about to quite and then let’s me win to keep playing.
I feel like Dans take on getting things made and TV executives isn’t new. I mean he’s describing the Poochie episode of the Simpsons, that’s was made in 1997
